Meeting Details

On July 26th-27th, the Rocky Mountain Discussion Group of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences will host their annual meeting at the Pacific University School of Pharmacy, on the Health Professions Campus in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Immediately following the RMDG conference, the International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics meeting will be held at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland Oregon from July 28th-31st.  Additional information can be found here: https://www.issx2019.org/

  • Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are being accepted for the AAPS RMDG Annual Meeting.
     

  • Abstracts in all areas of pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, analytical chemistry, biomedical and clinical sciences, and related areas will be considered.

  • The deadline for submission is June 28. Authors will be informed of acceptance by July 6.

  • Travel awards may be provided for students and/or postdocs selected for outstanding oral or poster presentations

The Portland metro area and Washington county are beautiful in the summer! Listed here are hotels within a 5 to 15 minute drive to the Pacific University Health Professions Campus, which is in Hillsboro (18 miles west of Portland). However feel free to explore other neighborhoods; there are many lodging options nearby or in the Portland area.

 

If you're also attending the ISSX meeting and planning to stay in downtown Portland, the train (MAX Blue Line; see below) is a great way to avoid the traffic as you travel to Pacific University's Health Professions Campus.  Please book your accommodations early.
